General Practice

BAppSC (Vet tech & Mgmt) BVSc (Hons)

Jodilee Penn graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Veterinary Technology and Management) from the University of Queensland in 2005. While completing her Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree she worked as an emergency nurse at PICU in Brisbane. Due to Jodilee’s keen interest in emergency medicine after graduation, she completed a small animal rotating internship at Queensland Veterinary Specialists in 2015. Jodilee went on to spend 3 years in private GP practice on the gold coast before returning to emergency medicine and began working in the ECC department at UQ Vets in 2018.

Jodilee has a strong passion for emergency and critical care, feline medicine and clinical teaching of final year veterinary and veterinary technology students. In her spare time she is outdoors gardening or with her husband and their 2 dogs and 4 cats.
