James offers a comprehensive evaluation and treatment of eye diseases including, but not limited to:
- Examination with Binocular indirect ophthalmoscope – fundus/retinal exam
- Slit lamp biomicroscopy
- Measurement of intra-ocular pressure

James offers a wide range of surgeries:
- Eyelid surgery (complicated tumour removals, eyelid reconstructions, entropion)
- Corneal diamond tip burring for indolent ulcers (Boxer ulcers/non healing ulcers/SCCEDS) and superficial corneal calcium deposits in dogs – mostly done fully conscious under local anaesthetic only (no sedation of general anaesthetic)
- Abnormal hair removal – distichia, ectopic cilia, trichiasis
- Corneal/conjunctival grafts for ruptured corneas, descemetocele, sequestra, melting ulcers
